The DAT-Schaub Group source sheep casings/runners, in New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East, China and Europe. The casings are selected and tubed at own facilities and the Group therefore is able to supply the widest range of sheep casings for sausage production.

DAT-Schaub sheep casings are the perfect match for fresh and cured sausages. The casings’ delicate bite, strength and texture allow for maximum quality and a smoothly cooking and smoking production of sausages, with a smaller natural casing diameter.

Every millimeter counts. Our most important goal is quality and uniformity. A strong and caliber-stable gut that lasts throughout the production process. Our sheep casings originate in Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East. Sheep casings is often used for narrow sausages such as hot dogs, prince sausages, Viennese sausages, etc.
